Course Summary

Led by Resilient Futures Co-Founder Dr. Ellie Cahill PhD, we delve into the fundamental aspects of racial trauma and its far-reaching effects on both children & adults. Through knowledge building, personal storytelling, and a set of versatile Racial Healing Practices, participants will learn that wellness occurs with an awareness of our racialized and cultural identities. As we can recognize and process the oppression and harm that comes with our identities in safe spaces, we become equally aware of the experiences of joy, excellence, and celebration that come with healing.

  • This video-based course begins with a robust introduction from Dr. Ellie Cahill where she will educate participants about the significant and compounding impact of Racial Trauma and Racial Battle Fatigue for people of color.

  • Dr. Cahill leads 7 guided Racial Healing Practices using versatile tools and techniques including meditations, journaling, visualizations, and body-based activities.
