This training provides essential strategies and tools to implement across classrooms, schools, and community organizations, helping to create environments that support healing, safety, and strong relationships.

Led by our Co-Founders—Dr. Megan Brennan, PsyD, Dr. Ellie Cahill, PhD, and Dr. Laura McArthur, PhD—this course explores the widespread impact of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), historical trauma, and toxic stress on both children and adults. Grounded in our 4 R’s Process, we emphasize reducing the risk of harm to survivors of trauma, fostering resilience, and developing new, supportive practices that promote growth.

Whether working in education, mental health services, or youth development, participants will gain practical tools to create trauma-informed spaces where all students and adults feel seen, valued, and empowered. The training highlights the disproportionate effects of trauma on marginalized communities and the necessity of cultural humility in trauma-informed practices.
